A Book of Condolences for Fr. Alec Reid R.I.P is now open at the offices at Nenagh Town Council.
30th October 2013: Renewable Energy Export Policy & Development Framework
The Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Pat Rabbittee, T.D. announces the first phase of public consultation on the proposed Renewable Energy Export Policy & Development Framework. As part of this consultation process written submissions, or observations are sought from all interested parties including individuals and organisations, to assist in the preparation of the policy & development framework and the scoping of the Strategic Environmental Assessment Environmental Report & the Habitats Directive Natura Impact Statement which will accompany the proposed policy & development framework.
Written submissions or observations should be clearly marked "Renewable Energy Export Framework" and can be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Alan Duggan, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Division, Department of Communications Energy & Natural Resources, 29-31 Adelaide Rd, Dublin 2.
The closing date for written submissions or observations is 17.30 hrs on Friday 22nd November

Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of Nenagh Town Council to make an order under Section 11 of the Roads Acts 1993, in accordance with Section 180 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 as amended by Section 114 of the Planning & Development (Amendment) Act 2007 and Section 59 (f)(c) of the Planning & Development (Amendment) Act 2010, declaring the Roads in the following estate to be taken in charge:-
Map showing the estate may be inspected in the Town Council Offices, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh between the hours of 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. each day during which offices are open to the public from Monday 21st October to Friday 22nd November 2013.
Objections or representations relating to the above may be made in writing to the Town Clerk, Nenagh Town Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than Monday 9th December, 2013.

7th October 2013: Nenagh Castle - Winter Opening Hours
From Tuesday 15th October 2013 the Castle will be open at 2.00 p.m. only for a public tour from Tuesday - Saturday.
The Park will be open daily from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
There will also be a tour of the Castle on Bank Holiday, Monday 28th October 2013 at 2.00 p.m.

Take notice that the Manager of Nenagh Town Council and North Tipperary County Council by Order Nos. 2013/92 and 161892 dated 27th August 2013, has hereby corrected the "Nenagh Town and Environs Development Plan 2013-2019 Zoning Map, (February 2013)" in the following manner:
A copy of the Orders, together with a copy of the corrected map "Nenagh Town and Environs Development Plan 2013-2019 Zoning Map, February 2013 - Final" are available for public inspection at the offices of Nenagh Town Council and North Tipperary County Council, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary during office hours. A copy of the corrected map "Nenagh Town and Environs Development Plan 2013-2019 Zoning Map, February 2013 - Final" is also available on line at www.nenaghtc.ie and at www.tipperarynorth.ie.
28th August, 2013: Public Notice - Nenagh Leisure Centre
Nenagh Town Council wishes to advise that further to previous notification the Swimming Pool will now close at 2 p.m. on Friday 20th December, 2013 to facilitate the upgrading of Nenagh Leisure Centre. It should be noted that the Gym Area has closed from Sunday 18th August 2013. It is expected that the refurbished Leisure Centre will re-open in March 2014. Nenagh Town Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
24th June 2013: New Mayor for Nenagh Town
At the Annual Meeting of Nenagh Town Council held on Monday 24th June, 2013, Cllr. Jimmy Moran was elected as Mayor of Nenagh Town for 2013/2014. Cllr. Hughie McGrath was elected as Deputy Mayor. Cllr. Moran takes over the position of Mayor from Cllr. Lalor McGee.

25th March 2013: Surveying of Domestic Water Connections
The surveying of Domestic Properties for the purpose of water metering has commenced in North Tipperary. They Surveying of stop taps and boundary boxes in advance of the installation of water meters is currently taking place in North Tipperary. This will take place at various locations on different days of the week.
Surveyors will carry official North Tipperary County Council identification. If a member of the public is in doubt about the identity of a person claiming to be from North Tipperary County Council, request to see their official identification. If you still have a query or doubt that the person is representing North Tipperary County Council, you can contact 067-44829 for clarification. See the information note regarding this national survey
22nd January 2013: Saturday Free Car Parks
Nenagh Town Council are pleased to announce from 2nd February, 2013 the operation of free parking in the following Car Parks:- Abbey Street Car Park, Friar Street Car Park, John's Place Car Park, O' Rahilly Street Car Park, Scouts Hall Car Park, Courthouse Car Park, John's Lane Car Park, Kenyon Street Car Park, Railway Station Car Park.
Please note that free Saturday parking DOES NOT apply to on-street parking.
10th Feb 2012: Free On Street Parking 8.30-10.00 a.m.
Nenagh Town Council are pleased to announce free on street parking from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. from Monday 20th February, 2012. Normal pay parking applies as follows:- On Street from 10.00a.m to 6.30p.m., Public Car Parks from 8.30a.m. to 6.30p.m.
